I genuinely could not fault either the lovely lady who organised everything for me initially and kept me so well informed at every stage and put my very frazzled mind at ease to the wonderful 3 man team of super smart efficient and friendly guys who turned up and wrapped and packed all our belongings with such care. My only job was making tea. It was a breath of fresh air in what had been an extremely stressful move due to major work being required at our own home. I am very happy to be using the same company again in 6 months or so when we need to move back again.

I hired Doree Bonner to move my property from the UK to the USA. The property was eventually delivered 4 months later after a 6 to 10 week promised delivery time. Schumacher Cargo Logistics Inc. was hired as the local contractor to get my property from the port to my address. Upon arrival, the driver refused to enter the gated community with the lorry and said he would go to the local U-Haul and hire a vehicle to move my goods into and thereafter deliver the goods to me. For that privilege, he told me that it would cost me $250USD. This is the first time I was ever informed of the extent of that cost. The driver never made any attempt to enter the community to deliver the goods. The narrowest point the vehicle would have to negotiate was 14 feet wide (this is the gate entrance) with a direct approach from the main road. Thereafter, 23 feet and the narrowest and 25 feet wide at the widest point with all parked vehicles outside of this measurement. There was also another entrance which was twice as wide but the driver only used it to exit the property. I feel like I was 'held over a barrel' insofar as the delivery was concerned. If you decide to use either of these companies to deliver your property please make sure you are aware of this scam.

Relocating provisionally or for good is a stressful matter, as we all know. But having your piano travel to the other side of the world and back if nerve-wracking.

Recently we had to move our daughter's piano from the UK to S'pore To make it clear: for us, this piano is affectionately referred to as "THE BOY". It is more than a pet and we saw it take to the see 'on its own' twice so far. Just to set the background straight.

The most recent relocation started at the end of January 2019 and reached its destination at the beginning of April.

Doree Bonner crew of four mighty lads came to collect 'THE BOY' and I have no words to describe how well it was taken care of, wrapped and loaded on the truck. A few weeks passed and not much happened, probably because of the weather or the normal operations in the warehouse. We saw our dear piano in a very neat crate and we were finally informed that it was loaded on a groupage container and left the shores of Great Britain on a very modern vessel which we were able to track throughout the journey until it docked at S'pore port in less than a month.
On arrival, we could see our "Boy" back home without a scratch.
We have been informed and reassured by the patient and friendly staff of Doree Bonner whenever we made an enquiry. (Not recommended, as these people know their job and re-confirm their good reviews.)
We will use Doree Bonner again with the first opportunity. The black cat on their logo seems truly auspicious. ;D

Following a major water leak at our property our insurance company arranged for Bonners to take our belongings into storage.From our first contact we found the team to be highly professional and efficient, our worldly goods were carefully packed up and taken away. Six months later our home was 'fixed' and we contacted Bonners to arrange a return date, as promised they called a few days before the agreed return date and confirmed the time they would be with us. True to their word they arrived on time and the team were really helpful assembling wardrobes and ensuring everything was in the right place. Throughout our 6 month ordeal we dealt with many different contractors and Bonners proved to be one of the best.Everything returned safely and no breakages. The cost was met by the insurance company so I do not have that cost.

So far so good. The Doree Bonner International (DBI) representative Paul came to view the articles to be moved and speedily quoted competitively and successfully for the contract. The container is as I write, is still in transit and not yet delivered.
However to date I can say with confidence that the company's lines of communication and updates has been exemplary, informing me of progress at each and every stage. The point of contact has been Joanne Hill in their dartford office, who has been most professional, understanding and patient. Therefore I can say that to date DBI have lived up to a high standard and I have no hesitation in writing this positive review. (Dr. E D Uri).

I recently used Doree Bonner for my move from Bromley to Taunton, Somerset. The crew came in, assessed what was needed and proceeded to carry out a fast, careful packing and removal of my goods. At the other end, they were equally efficient and careful with my belongings and after unpacking have found no breakages. They are a company that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. I could find no fault. My only advise to anyone using Doree Bonner is to make sure there is plenty of coffee and sugar to keep the lads going!

Was awful from the start quoted us wrong added extra money as load didn’t fit left stuff behind and pictures on walls which should’ve been packed and we had to get it to them before it left uk then had to pay a lot extra on top!! They packed rubbish sacks in with other items . Then after it costing a fortune more on top they couldn’t break down what we paid for and wouldn’t deliver the stuff until payed in full on top of this a few items were Brocken made a very stressful time moving from uk to Australia so much harder would never recommend or use again !! And the manager was just awful to speak to really rude .

After a perfect job sending our daughter's piano from the UK to Singapore back in March 2019, Doree Bonner did it again, equally well.
It was a complicated and quite hectic move. We had to move to France for a year or so and A LOT of logistics begged consideration: documents to arrive from governmental bodies, hair-splitting concerns for both storage and shipment, workforce and skills, technical intricacies like dismantling furniture that required special attention, the cost involved for a dedicated truck, loading containers for storage, crossing the English Channel where it is better, just to name a few.

The crew was yet again brilliant, reassuring, sympathetic and thoughtful. One of them we had met before when the piano was removed, another one, a Polish, lead the team and advised with brilliant dexterity, the third one ready to accommodate our needs, polite and friendly.

The moving coordinators in Bath have been outstanding advisors and brought all things together smoothly and helped to bring down the cost to make it possible for us.

Then, there was the human touch: they understood my being emotional for leaving our home for the last five years. No words were said, but all was understood and they were all tactful and considerate.

Well, still waiting for some documents, but I trust all happens for a reason at Doree Bonner.

Yes, Doree Bonner, might be costly at a first glance, but looking at all the elements handled so well, there's a good balance price vs value for money.

Packers missed a cupboard full of boxes on a move from UK to USA. This happened two years ago, but only just found this site.Packers did a good job, but they failed to perform a final check. I signed off just seconds before mistake was discovered, but they were not prepared to call the container back (it left maybe 10 minutes prior) They presented an expensive quotation for shipping the missed boxes, and denied all responsibility, packers lying about the details of the mistake. We ended up shipping the extras FedEx (who were half the price!) but they lost a box, and damaged another. We were told the shipment was going by sea all the way, but in-fact it was transferred to a train over the USA which took weeks extra than we were expecting.

DoreeBonner were excellent from start to finish. As the completion date was right in the middle of the holiday period it was difficult getting a firm date from anyone, despite having many quotes. Paul managed to fit me in and his team turned up on time and were very efficient and helpful. They had a long wait before I finally got the keys to the house (long chain) and stayed late to complete my move. They came back the next day to reassemble beds, etc. So grateful for their professionalism and commitment. Thank you guys!

Having had a complete disaster with a move handled by Pretlove's, I was scared with this move. We had already lost a number of precious items with Pretlove's. However, this move was wonderful! Everything was beautifully wrapped, we were kept up-to-date, I had one anxious moment, but it was nothing had only been precipitated by previous, bad experience. I can highly recommend Doree Bonner if you want everything to arrive in one piece! Thank you for doing such a splendid job.

This is the 3rd time I’ve used Doree Bonner. I could not have asked for a better service from beginning to end. The lads who did the move were absolutely fantastic, polite, helpful they packed beautifully one day , moved me and unpacked the next day putting most things away for me. They the next day did a removal to my daughter’s house too. If anybody is thinking of moving I would urge you to consider this company.

Following a flood from my dishwasher all ground floor furniture and kitchen appliances were removed for short term storage.

I can only praise the efficiency and professionalism provided by Doree Bonner. Prompt and clear communication by telephone and email from office staff advising times and additional call from the crew on the day confirming arrival time. Daniel and Ash were very polite, friendly, efficient and professional. They removed each and every item with respect and care. Items were photographed and listed so I felt reassured that my effects were safe and secure for transit, storage and return. The return of furniture was equally efficient and professional. I highly recommend Doree Bonner for extraordinary customer service.

I would like to thank Sam and his team for taking the stress out of our move to Sayalonga from Nottingham.
From my initial enquiry to the day of the move Sam and Emma were always quick to respond to any further queries due to the difficulties of our move and were friendly and professional throughout. I can not fault the three guys who came to pack and remove our belongings, they were super efficient, polite and hardworking, . Our belongs arrived on time on the date agreed and due to the expert packing all in good condition.

I’m not normally one to write reviews but I feel I should take the opportunity as this is the second time I’ve used Doree Bonner for a removal. I booked an appointment with their office for a quote and Mr Dodds arrived, smart, timely and with an encyclopaedic knowledge of his business. He instantly put my mind at rest regarding moving not only a whole house full of furniture which has accumulated over the years but couple of very large sentimental items we have too. The day of the move went seemlessly as well. The removal men are very professional and loaded the lorry very carefully and in such a short space of time which meant we were ready to go earlier than expected.
I had three quotes from other removal firms and Doree Bonner came out just £20.00 more expensive than their next competitor but take my advice if you value your possessions then these are the people to use.
Well done Doree Bonner and thank you again.
Top tip from one of the removal men, ‘make sure that the last thing to go on the van is the kettle’, You’ll need them at the other end. Last on first off !!

Doree Bonner. Where to start regarding the nightmare we suffered using this company. Household goods were picked up at residence in Scotland to be transported to Calgary here in Canada. Goods were picked up December 28, 2018. Contract indicated up to 20 weeks for delivery at which time we questioned the salesperson regarding this extensive period for delivery. His response was it normally would take 10 to 12 weeks but contracts being contracts etc etc. Goods lay in their warehouse in England for 3 months before being shipped. Household goods finally arrived June 6, 2019. That's one day shy of 23 weeks. Their contracts should state - Goods will get there when they get there - instead of indicating 20 weeks, which did not happen anyway. Had to purchase bed, sofa and everyday items due to this ridiculous time it took for delivery. Having made similar shipments of goods same time of year and shipped from Scotland to Canada over the past several years the average time using alternate shippers was 6 weeks and 8 weeks total from pickup to delivery. Doree Bonner. Not recommended. Definitely not recommended. Did I mention they are most definitely NOT RECOMMENDED. An absolute nightmare. Maybe from my perspective they should stick to local deliveries in the UK.

AVOID! Use someone else, just not worth it when there are many good options out there. We used them to pack and move locally within Scotland - packing was very poor and we ended up with A LOT of broken items, everything from bed frames, clocks, crockery and dry cleaning. Customer service was appalling, they did not want to know, for example no one returning multiple calls or emails for months. Was never resolved properly and we are seriously out of pocket. Very unprofessional from start to finish.
